A longtime teacher turned real estate agent and a special needs educator involved in Autism advocacy issues will fill the two vacancies on the Broward County School Board.On Friday, Gov. Rick appointed P. Leach and Donna P. Korn to the board, two weeks after the resignations of Gottlieb and Dave . Though the nine School Board seats are nonpartisan, the two Republicans join a body that has typically been a stronghold for the countyx92;s Democratic party.Both say they view education as a nonpartisan issue.
