I truly believe it is more beneficial than anything we could do. Debra, I had a deep tissue massage two weeks ago and had the medical office been closed, I would have been screaming, because the therapist used to work on my body once at week, at least, and periodically, an hour massage. Then, last week, I had another massage with the same therapist and I could not believe that I wasn't screaming mentally!! Just in that one hour, she broke up so many knots I could not believe it. And I think, if I were you, I would see if there is someone in your area who gives massages, that you could find something you could do for her in exchange for a massage, oh, once every 3 months? Or is there a massage school in your area??? They need volunteers for the students to train on and I don't think they charge or if they do, it's a small amount. And the students also have to do so many before they graduate -- which they can't charge for! (Yes, you would be a genie pig, but with an instructor close by and at that point, most people have worked on each so that they are very good!)
