Guest guest
Another side effect of the Ambien that I noticed in my late husband that in the time from when he took it until he actually went to bed (the cooling down period I called it) he would seem alert etc but the next day he would have no recollection of any conversations. Our oldest son would sometimes take advantage if I wasn't around and ask his dad something that he knew his dad wouldn't agree to and then tell him the next day that he had. I couldn't stick up for either one of them since I wasn't there to corraborate. Also the longer he was on it he also found that his short term memory was effected overall as well. Something to keep in mind if you are in conversations that have delicate decisions to be made. My husband would get frustrated and defensive about the memory lapses.
