Guest guest
I believe we all have our own circadian rhythms. My oldest daughter(19)is a total night owl. She doesn't stay out late with friends or anything, but she's online or on her cell phone, sometimes until 4 a.m.! Part of that is just being a teenager. I've read that the reason that younger teens start sleeping in late on weekends is because they really need more sleep what with the growth spurts and hormonal changes. It makes sense. Ah, those were the days.....sleeping until noon after having gone to be at 10:00 the night before. Don't we all wish we could do that now every once in a while? I've never been a morning person. I tend to be crabby for a while until I've woken up enough. Pain and aches vary from day to day. I'm fighting a cold/virus so have been more achy than usual in the morning. Well, now I'm rambling. Have a good day. Jeanne in WI involving being a 'nightowl'! Ive always hated morning. It takes me about 2 hrs, if im lucky, to wake up out of my 'morning fog'. and if I get woken up and barreled outa the house, forget it my days ruined.. regardless of whether i end up aching that day or not, i always feel creaky and sore in the morning when i initially wake up. The whole run over by a truck thing. And thats regardless of whether Im having a bad day the rest of the day.. Im always way more alert at night. Even as a teen, id go out at night and want to sleep in during the day. When i had to keep a regular schedule i could but id never been as awake as I am at night. Anyways, just wondering if thats just me being a 'night person' or if thats a normal thing. Just thinking about the fact that mornings are so evil.. -Nina
