Long-term Care Managed Care Technical Advisory Workgroup

The Agency for Health Care Administration (Agency) announces a public meeting to which all persons are invited.

Dial In Number: 1 Conference ID: 91196241GENERAL SUBJECT MATTER TO BE CONSIDERED: The purpose of this public meeting is as follows: The 2011 Florida Legislature established the Long-term Care Managed Care Technical Advisory Workgroup in HB 7107 (also known as Chapter 2011-134, Laws of Florida), which states:

Before August 1, 2011, the agency shall establish a technical advisory workgroup to assist in developing:

(a) The method of determining Medicaid eligibility pursuant to Section 409.985(3), F.S.( The requirements for provider payments to nursing homes under Section 409.983(6), F.S.© The method for managing Medicare coinsurance crossover claims(d) Uniform requirements for claims submissions and payments, including electronic funds transfers and claims processing(e) The process for enrollment of and payment for individuals pending determination of Medicaid eligibility
