In a meeting with the Governor's office, APD unveiled a planned list of cost cutting that will save $55,000,000 (the projected remaining shortfall). In the list of 21 items, five will directly impact Behavior Analysis Services:

Drop rate for Level 1 Behavior Analysis Services to Level 2 rate Reduce Agency rate to 20% above solo rates Eliminating any BSA services in ADT or Res Hab settings. Requiring 6 month reapplication and approval for behavioral services Reduce Intensive Behavioral Rates

The plan is labeled a "draft" with the final plan to be submitted on or before 9/1/2011.

If you are concerned about these proposed changes, we are asking that you contact the Governor's Office, and your local legislators (State Representatives & State Senators):
