Hi Judy- Don't put yourself through the worry, I myself have not had the

test, but my mom did, and then was told to see a liver specialist after, as she

was found to have a fatty liver, she called me a bit worried, asking if I know

what this could be. She has been to all, and she checked fine, some people are

prone to have this, she needs to watch a bit closer what she eats. She had

colon cancer about 6yrs ago, has one of the immune diseases, Poly, and has had

all this pain, some unexplained, and other symptoms, that her Rhuemie is well on

top of. But don't worry yourself, if it was a real concern I think like I told

my mom they would of sent her right over, as she was told to make the appt., and

not a real rush but to make the appt. So far, it is just the fatty liver.??? I

hope all turns out okay with you. Cancer crops up in every test result we have

that is questionable anymore, it is to bad it has to put such a scare in us, it

is way to common, yet alot of

test can lead you to believe this is what your going to find and it is not.

They probably want to check and see if it is enlarged because of the elevated

enzymes. Will probablly just keep a watch if this is it, and back you of the

med. I also worry about my liver as I have been on vicodin so long, and

handfulls of tylenol before that for pain, not good for liver, and have had lots

of family members now with cancer, I sometimes feel this is my real hidden

problem not the Fibro, but quickly redirect thinking. So try not to worry, you

don't need any extra to feed this hungry disease FM, just lurking for a person

with some stress or worry, to send you into a bigger flare. Best to you.

and alot of the sites came up with liver cancer. Okay, now I'm scared!!!!!

Anyone have this done? I need to ease my fears. I am on Liptor which I know can

effect the liver. But I've been on it for quite some time, and my blood work has

come back normal.

What else could it be that they are looking for, has anyone ever had a liver

ultra sound?
