Guest guest
Hi Tina, For me, diabetes is a very scary thing. As I am sure with many others. It runs in my family. I am type 2. I'm afraid for my children. One is hypoglycemic and the other is borderline diabetic. The lack of insurance/high co-pays is frustrating, the provider cuts down the amount of strips i can get a month and charges the same, i have to now pay for syringes, when before they were free, etc, etc. they keep wanting to add more meds and I just can't afford any more. so many people out there, doctor's included, who say do this, don't do that, that's bad for you, that's good. so confusing. And then you come to the conclusion that you have to do what's best for you. Except, I don't know what that is yet. With the help of this group and another, I am slowly learning. I am insulin dependent, and I take meds. The hardest thing was making myself give myself that first shot. honestly, i would rather give myself a shot than test. I am sick of testing. it hurts. lol > > My name is Tina. I am 41, Married, from WA state with no kids. I hope you > enjoy this group. I am Type 1.5 now due to other Health issues that mean I > will always have to be on Insulin from now on. > > ~~TINA~~ > >
