Guest guest
how do u come across all these informitave sights? I belong to a Web Med newsletter that comes out but topics are what they happen to be sending that week and maybe few other. You know I want to add though, when I had my DVT they could not do the usually test they did back then putting the dye through your foot run it up through the leg, by tilting the table as I was pregnant, so only doppler done, found by the sound of blood flow in the upper thigh, was put in the hosp. for over a mo. sent home treating myself with heprin shots q2hrs, and bedridden for the last 2 mo of pregnancy, that was awfull!! I then in 87 had the PE this to did not have the usually symptoms, only found because a superficial vein ruptured in my leg, sending me to Dr., and when asked I told him I had period's now and then of having trouble catching my breath, no real pain in chest once in awhile a twinge, lung scan done and bingo, another mo in hosp as they could not get me to theraputic level of coumadin, after heprin IV TX, had me on 12mg! of coumadin before it would kick in, and they were worried as that is very very high, so had to go for blood draw every day!, that was a part of my life I like to forget, as also had one more dvt,and no redness, not swelling just some pain. So for those who may have to watch for these, keep in mind some symptoms are not always by the norm.. Thanks for all your recipes etc. like the burrito.
