Guest guest
, Is it possible the intestinal part of your appendectomy scar is causing a transient blockage? I hope you get some relief from this. Your symptoms remind of what used to happen to my father after he had emergency surgery to remove a section of ischemic bowel (that is, oxygen- deprived due to a blood clot). For 3 years after, he had pain after he ate and his gut got swollen and hard. It was due to adhesions, which are scar tissue in the gut, which often forms despite the best efforts of the surgeon. It caused partial intestinal blockages frequently, which would resolve after 3-4 hours. After 3 years of this he had a complete blockage and had another surgery to remove the adhesions, and he's been OK gut-wise for 8+ years. Guest guest
Oh, sorry, I forgot you already had the pain and fluid before the appendectomy. So it's probably not adhesions and partial blockage. I hope you get some relief from whatever it is. Martha > > > > > my tummy gets all swollen and I look pregnant after I eat.
