Guest guest
ARC Broward's Respite Program is offering services during winter break (Dec 20 - 23 and Dec 27 - 29 from 8:30 to 4:30). In order to participate, families need to enroll in the respite program (which provides up to 120 hrs per year of respite care, including these days). To be eligible, child must have a diagnosis of a developmental disability (Autism, Intellectual Disability, Down Syndrome, Prader Willi, Spina Bifida or Cerebral Palsy), live in Broward County, be between ages of 3 and 21 (still enrolled in school), live with family (not in group home). Broward County funds this program and does cap family income for funding (i.e. a family of 4 must have total household income of less than $88,200). We also offer respite care in family homes and at our center on other days that schools are closed and on select Saturdays. Please contact Alan Montero at ext 1168 or via email at mailto:amontero@... for more information and to enroll/sign up for winter break days! (please contact Alan as soon as possible as space fills up quickly for winter break). We also offer in-home ABA services for those families whose health insurance plans do not cover such. We look forward to providing services and supports to assist your families! Warm Regards, Preston, MS Director of Children's Services ARC Broward 10250 NW 53rd Street Sunrise, FL 33351 www.arcbroward.com Enriching the Lives of Individuals with disABILITIES since 1957...
