New Autism Society in Palm Beach

Dear Friends and Families Good news! Autism Society of Broward County will now be merging with Palm Beach to bring you Autism Society Broward/Palm Beach. Together with NARY Palm Beach, we will be having lots of exciting events starting in early January. Our planning committee met last night to recommend what type of programming we will be offering. The committee came up with the following ideas:1. recreational outings2. monthly meetings with speakers3. support group4. developing a high school Big Brother/Big Sister program5. developing a Parent Advocacy service6. fundraising in the form of writing grants and activities7. development of special needs community based programs such as special needs gymnastics, skating, etc.8. offering scholarships for community-based services such as summer camp9. membership committee10. sibling support group Our first event will be in early January. We are planning a fun-filled recreational event for the entire family. At this time, we are developing contact list.
