Big Shopping mistake!!

OK Guys, this is not just another forward like we get every day and send to all our friends with all the viruses. This happened to me today and I am sending to my friends so they do not make the same mistake I did.

First off I NEVER shop the day after thanksgiving (no matter how much savings), but I made the mistake of going to Best Buy this morning even though Tom told me not to, because it was going to be a mad house. (I will hear the I told you so's for the next 10 years.) The crowd was not the problem. I made a $600 purchase of an iPad and accessories for Zander's autism therapy and left the store feeling really good that I had it because I was afraid there would be a run on them. I put the small bag behind the rear seat of my Tundra truck (a small hiding place that nobody knows about, or at least I thought not), and drove straight to the Home Depot. I went in HD, and 20 minutes later went outside to my truck and the back passenger window of my truck was smashed in and the iPad was gone.. Nothing else was touched. I am convinced (and the police too) that I was watched while checking out of Best Buy and a thief (probably a ring of thieves) followed me from the parking lot to the Home Depot parking lot, waited for me to get out of the truck and then very quickly was burglarized. This was not a coincidence because Home Depot is not your typical place to break into a car. The police told me it happens every year and this the first year (in many years) that I shopped the day after Thanksgiving. My advice to anyone who will be shopping this weekend is if you make purchases from a store, take them straight home because you could be followed to your next stop and when you return to your vehicle you will find yourself in my place. $500 deductible on vehicle, $500 deductible on homeowners (which is what covers stuff INSIDE your vehicle), so I am out $1000 for being an idiot and shopping on black Friday. I send this to you only in hopes that you are smarter than me. BTW, Home Depot had parking lot cameras on, and spotted the vehicle which broke into my car. Couldn't identify the tag number though. Best Buy had ZERO security cameras in their parking lot. I will not shop there again because you are obviously not safe there. Learn from my bad experience my friends.

Have a Happy Holiday season?
