Guest guest
Hi all, I am sure this question has been asked a gazillion times, and I apologize. I am almost 56, have Rheumatoid Arthritis, bad Osteoarthritis, and I am 1000% certain will soon have a diagnosis of Fibromyalgia. I have worked for over 40 years, so have enough in my social security account to qualify for disability. When I saw it was over 1700 a month I was shocked. I am very aware though that meds can eat that up quickly, so if I apply, I would also apply for assistance with medications. I know just the diagnosis of RA alone and my current condition, can qualify me for disability alone. My question is have those of you who have gone for SSD found that it was harder with a Fibromyalgia diagnosis, either by itself or in conjunction with other diseases? I do not want to apply now, but the way I am getting worse and worse, it may be in the near future. Thanks again for being here, F.
