Guest guest
Well I willl let you know if I can get to my 4th attempt of getting to my dr.!, expecting another storm and I have to travel 3hrs, but this has been on my mind, since I have been on vicodin 7.75 for a long time, it not only does not work like it use to but did expect this as I am very aware of Med's, but also have worried about liver damage from it, and now this drug is less damaging then the vicodin. My dr is very supportive of working with keeping mey comfortable, may really push again,, that if this is what I am thinking of it really is time to go to the pain clinic. ???? Will keep you posted, on my results, and if someone else is thinking of this med. I wish you the best, as my brother found it to work for long period of time, which I would love to have, something working and working to elevieate total pain, and not have to take a pill for at least 12hrs or better, now I am on q 6rs and most through nights now. When I go to the ER they give me this in an IV and it completely alleviates the pain. Its sort of wierd the first time you use it though because at least for me it acts totally different than any other pain med. They it in the iv or you can take a pill - but either way you are laying there and its like a gentle foggy cloud sort of starts at the top of your head and moves down your whole body and until everything sort of has no sensation. I was scared the first time because it was such a complete sense of weightlessness. The normal dosage in the ER is 2 bullosks (I may have that spelled wrong but essentially two ampules). For me that was too much because I literally couldn't walk out of the ER under my own steam. The second time I told them to cut it in half and it was perfect - enough to eliminate the pain and let me get some sleep without making be drool. I'm curious to hear what your doc says about substituting it for vic or perco.
