It was never discussed. I had the same thought actually, some sort of twisted eating disorder. So far, I think I'm doing ok with it since I've been seeing the case manager. I was going to say something to my doctor if I wasn't able to get my eating under control, but I think so far so good. Funny though, how the thought popped into your head, but not into a doctors... Guest guest
My sugars are improving but not like I want them too. Are you pumping??? Hi Kris. I am so sorry to hear about your loss! No, I'm not on a pump. I don't think I'm ready for that yet, but definately it's in my mind for the future.

Guest guest
Hello, I am Norma from Ohio. I am 57 years old. I have been married to the same man for 38 years. I had 3 children. Our oldest daughter was taken from us a year ago in November. She was 36 years old. She had weight loss surgery and 4 months to the day she was dead. A long painful and needless 4 months. this has probably been the longest year of my life. I have a doctor who is 35 and a son who is 33 and spent over a year in Iraq. I was diagnosed with fibro about 10 years ago. I had gone to several doctors to find out why I felt the way I did. My family doctor thought all along I had fibro but wanted to make sure. I went to Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio and saw a arthritis specialist there. Who confirmed that I did have fibro. Since then I have had many things come up where fibro was always the factor. then the 15th of February I had a complete shoulder surgery. Replacing the ball at the end of the bone and the shoulder socket as well. I had surgery and wow no pain. thought I died and went to heaven not to have pain in the shoulder. then the next week I went to the doctor and he pulled on my arm and pushed down at the same time and he hurt me. I have been in terrible pain ever since. well with an X-ray they found that the bone had dropped way down and the ball was not in the socket like it should be. He told me that the deltoid muscle which is the large muscle the runs across the shoulder and down the arm was not working. So it could not hold the bone up in place. I got to thinking the other day. Could fibro have anything to do with that? Interesting thought. I hope that I will learn many things here and that perhaps I might share what works for me. I have not been able to take any medication for my fibro because, 1.) I had stomach ulcers so anything that might upset my stomach is a no no and 2.) I am allergic to anything that is related to aspirin. Aspirin make me go into asthma attacks. So nothing that is out now or has been out has been ok for me to take. I have always been diagnosed with Sleep Apnea which does not help the fibro at all. thanks for letting me join your group. Norma/Ohio **************It's Tax Time!
