Guest guest
Have you tried extra OTC meds like Naproxen and Advil for the pain? And those Salonpas patches? The max doses on them is much higher than what the bottle says. You could find max doses and go from there until you could see a doctor again. I don't want to quote max doses in case I make a mistake. But I got by on a lot of Aleve and Advil for a couple years. Guest guest
Poor thing. I know I had doubled and tripled the Aleve and dumped tylenol altogether when I was going through that. When my son was a baby the doctor gave me benadryl in an Rx and it was for everything; pain included. Maybe it might help??? Maybe go to the drug store and read the other off brand pain relievers ingredients and see if maybe there is something else you haven't tried yet? Also maybe something in the tooth area ? Since you aren't on anything; have you considered a glass of wine or beer before bed maybe? At least if you could relax and rest it might help lessen the pain during the day. Not sleeping surely makes it worse. Or perhaps OTC sleep aides like Tylenol PM. I used that too for a while. I sure hope you can find something. I know how hard it is when you can't take Rx's for whatever reason.
