Out of the Loop

Just wanted you to know that I may not be replying or posting much. I'm not

feeling well, and under a lot of stress worrying about my dad. They

postponed his lung biopsy until next week. They put him on a Z-pak

antibiotic because they're worried he may have an infection, so will do

biopsy after anti-b's are finished. They have a couple other concerns -

white blood count is on the low side, and his kidney function shows that he

is getting closer and closer to renal failure. Last year when dialysis was

mentioned, he sounded as if he might refuse dialysis. Don't know what he

will say when the time comes up now. I hope that his desire to keep singing

and directing his Barbershop chorus will make him want to put up with the

dialysis. In any case, in my heart, I fear that he will not live out the

year. I want/need to go see him, but I feel sooooo crappy, don't know if

I'll make it or not. I hope to get my daughter to drive me tomorrow, but

don't know what her plans are. Anyway, I'll pop in when I can. Thanks for
