Guest guest
I just want to say, I am in the same boat, except, I have the same thing, only when I have contacts in I have to use readers, when I have glasses on I have to take them off and use nothing to read now, and when I have contacts in sometimes have found I need the reader glasses on on top of them to watch t.v also. Just had eye's done, and seem contacts are not right already, they say my sight is not bad, but if I were to try and go solo I could not find my way around my own house, and no way can I drive??? Old age, lol, but did have one of my med's effecting sight. I am so nearsighted that if I didn't have my contacts or glasses on you'd have to lead me around. That's how bad it is. But in the last few years I've had to get reading glasses to see anything up close - which is really weird because nearsightedness means you can see up close - but now I can't without the reading glasses. And I've had to change the strength on those to a stronger prescription. So in my case, yes, mine vision seems to get worse. Can't say for sure if its fibro related or just getting old :-) - but either way, it bites. Teri (central WI) Eyesight question I have seen on here that fibro can mess up eyesight, but how bad? Right now I am getting a new pair every year (that's what the insurance will pay for.) But this last pair started failing me after only 3 months. If this keeps on my glasses will be 2 inches thick in ten years. HAHA??? nope laughter doesn't help this one. I am very afraid of going blind. Can anyone give me more info on this? Thank you Doreen
