Guest guest
Today keep getting big stinging itchy patches for a minute or more in various parts of my legs. Really annoying to say the least. Kind of travels to different spots. Bigger area than the usual stings I get often. Guess will try putting lotion on to see if that helps. Guest guest
I get things like that. The doc told me it was eczema. I use Eucerin or Neutrogena. Feels sticky for a little while but when I take off my pants it doesn't look like a blizzard. Well, the patches on my hands -- fingers and palms, even around my finger nails, pretty much stopped and I no longer get it there --- that was eczema. Now since sometime in the 1990's, I have had a very rare form of pustular psorris, mainly on the sole of my right foot. The dermatolgoist tried everything that he could think of until finally there was only one choice left and that was injections. But, it was left up to me if I wanted the injections! Well, it was pretty nasty and it was difficult to wear hose, etc. for work, so I said yes. Mind you, this was an evening appointment, the waiting room and some of the other exam rooms were full of younger children, so the nurse was standing between the doctor and I, I was squeezing her left hand with my right hand and bitting my left finger as the nurse spray a numbing agent on my right foot while the doctor injected my foot 17 times. As with another of my weird treatments, I could choice when to stop the injections (or maybe the doctor decided enough was a enough!). Anyway, they taped my foot up very tightly and I went home. At work the next day, I was hobbling around at work, one of the docs in the department I worked in, wanted to know what was wrong and I was really too embarrassed to tell them. Now, my husband has had a patch of eczema on his left leg and his doctor either gave him samples to start with or wrote the name of an over-the-counter treat that cleared his red patch up --- the product is called CeraVe Daily Skin Care Plan, one product is to be used to clean the area and the other is a moisturizing cream. DH said each product which is larger than most such products -- but the do cost between $12 and $15 dollars each.

I put Eurcerin creme on all over my legs and that seemed to help. Don't have bumpy skin, flaky areas or anything like that though. Will pay more attention if I get those stingy patches again.
