Ok so I'm reading posts about the thyroid discussion. I happen to be wondering

myself if my thyroid isnt still messed up- no one called back about test

results-I'm to assume that when none calls thats suppose to be good news. When I

asked for the anitbody test through the nurse of my endocrinologist-she said

well we will run the basics, then if it shows some abnormality, they would then

go ahead and run other tests. At this point I'm trying to let it go, but still

not entirely convinced that there still isnt something wrong, my hands at times

get cold and face gets hot. almost like I'm running a fever, I dont check my

temp all the time, I keep wanting to, but cant adhere to this everyday, as is

for many things. I have absolutely no energy or stamina most days, I have a new

sharp pain running down the front of my right leg muscle, new pain in my thigh

joints that comes and goes, but they are saying this is avascular necrosis. I

often wonder if my pain isnt due to long

standing hormone issues Ive had my whole life with the pcos, diabetes type II

and adrenal issues. A long time ago they used to test me for cushings syndrome,

but its never been concluded, always looks like it, but never is, so for years

now they have been telling me its fibro-do any of you think that I dont have

fibro? and also is there still a chance of being hypo instead of fibro or is

this a combination of all of them? Any comments input? thank you C

writing back and sending the info that you did. Also

glad that you explained what oxalate was. Many years ago I went to a man who

was not allowed to practice in the hospital but he still took in patients.

When ever he would do blood work he said the normal screening for T3,T4,T7 and

TSH will come back fine but until you check the antibodies, that is where the

trouble lies. I asked my family physician what the other doctor meant by that

and he said he had no idea. I just know when I went to the first doctor I

felt good and always got a B 12 shot.

I also tend to be a anemic all the time as well.

Thanks so much,

Norma/Ohio
