Lyrica question

Hi all,

Boy oh boy I am so glad I found this group!

I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, Hypothyroidism and

Hypoparathyroidism. I believe I have suffered from Fibro for 9+

years--although not a single doctor I have seen talked about it.

My Rheumatologist's PA prescribed Lyrica for me to deal with the Fibro

pain, although I am still not officially diagnosed with Fibro. As I

mentioned in my initial posts, I am in the process of finding another

Rheumatologist who will listen to me and not act like I am faking.

Anyway, for the past two weeks, I have been in the worst flare I have

ever had, waking up at night with severe knee cramps, bad TMJ on my

right side of my jaw, major fog in the morning, very very bad neck,

shoulder, lower back pain - all on both sides. Have gone to 3 Lyrica

daily and was doing ok.

If the flare subsides, I want to reduce the Lyrica. Does anyone do

this? Or do you just stay on it? I have no desire to live on this

stuff. I already take enough meds for my RA. :)

Thanks,
