Sadly, this is all too often true. I would just keep insisting! Happened

with a friend of mine that KNEW she had a particular problem for 11 yrs and they

would not test her properly. Turned out it was b/c of insurance and she

wasn't told this. About 12 yrs. into this they finally discovered she was very

severe!! By then a lot of damage was done. Lovely.

Just read this and thought I would add this is so right about testing all 3

when doing thyroid but for yrs I kept getting only TSH even though I would push

the fact that my surgeon who removed my thyroid, told me to always stay in with

ENDRO., because of the insurance or if you don't have any Primary will only run

TSH, and insist this is all we need, then found out because of the expense of

the complete thyroid panel they will not do it. ?? Unfair as it is it is true.

I also have PCOS hormone issues hands get cold as well as feet and

face gets hot no energy or stamina. But everytime they check my

thyroid it is fine. They just run the TSH test only. I wonder if it is

something else as well. I have found that when my face is feeling like

it is on fire that my blood pressure is up, How has that been for you.

Also have u heard of metabolic syndrome. Maybe that is your most part.

I have also been diagnosed with that as well as fibro, pcos,

depression, anxiety, HBP, ect.
