Guest guest
Hi Sharon, I'm not sure but I think they ran the tsh and t3 and t4-I think- I'm going to the hospital to get the lab test report to see what actually they did do. Sometime this week i also intend to press for more testing- I'm tired of sitting back and just letting crap go by-I've always had difficulties with asserting myself with medical personnel, I mean I've gotten better-but I've been their lab rat for twenty years, I've been giving a river of blood in test tubes and still no clear cut answers- I've had to piece it together myself and its just not a pretty picture. I've had complacent, insulting, neglectful, rude, discompassionate, SOB doctors my whole life- I'm not taking anymore bullshit from them. This year is the year I get answers! and I've already decided that if they dont start coming up with answers and solutions-heads are gonna start rolling. Sorry but I'm P'd off. sharon studley wrote: Just read this and thought I would add this is so right about testing all 3 when doing thyroid but for yrs I kept getting only TSH even though I would push the fact that my surgeon who removed my thyroid, told me to always stay in with ENDRO., because of the insurance or if you don't have any Primary will only run TSH, and insist this is all we need, then found out because of the expense of the complete thyroid panel they will not do it. ?? Unfair as it is it is true. Annette Walsh wrote: They should be running a T3 and T4 along with TSH. But everytime they check my thyroid it is fine. They just run the TSH test only. I wonder if it is something else as well. I have found that when my face is feeling like it is on fire that my blood pressure is up, How has that been for you. Also have u heard of metabolic syndrome. Maybe that is your most part. I have also been diagnosed with that as well as fibro, pcos, depression, anxiety, HBP, ect.
