Guest guest
Hi my name is Brittany. I'm fairly certain I have had fibro for many years but didn't think all my symptoms were because of one illness. I have had chest pains from it since I was 10 and am now 22. I get recurrent sinus and bladder infections and I have migratory pain all over my body. Some days my body just throbs from the waist down. If I keep moving I can usually get through the pain but once I sit down I don't want to get back up. Other days the fatigue, depression and anxiety are just so overwhelming I just want to sleep and never wake up. I'm not on any meds yet but i'm hoping to get that changed tomorrow when I go to my rheumatologist. I also go to my psychiatrist next week and am looking forward to getting some medication for my severe anxiety. At first my rheumatologist thought I had RA but all my tests (even the xrays which I was sure would show something)have come back negative and now I am almost certain that I have fibromyalgia. I just hope that it doesn't take him forever to diagnose it. Wish me luck! Thanks for listening, Britt
Guest guest
Welcome here Brittany. Sure sounds like the fibro monster himself. (many of us refer to fibromyalgia as a beast, a monster, or a demon because it acts like one... LOL). I have heard many people say they have chest pain with fibromyalgia. It is common I think. I have not had chest pain with it but alot of other pains that come and go at will. You will find alot of knowledge here and support. Welcome again, Debra V. Guest guest
Good luck Britt. That is exactly how I feel at times. Total throbbing from the waist down, just want to amputate, but that probably wouldn't work real well!!! I hope you get a Dx soon. /Mi Britt's Intro Hi my name is Brittany.
