To Everyone who responded to my daughter's request-THANK YOU SO MUCH! I am so overwhelmed by all the responses. I started out trying to thank everyone individually but have lost track of who I replied to and who I didn't. . . so If I accidently skipped you please know it was not on purpose and I am pleading OD! Seriously though, I am grateful to be part of such a caring wonderful group and feel very blessed to have all of you as friends. Tami has two weeks to complete her paper and I promise to share it as soon as she is done. As of right now, we all had different reactions to the news, and I am the only one who was lured into alternative medicine by a chiroprator who promised to cure me ( and no it didn't work, cost a fortune and in hindsight was

ridiculous I believed her), all of us have lost friends we thought would be there and gained friends we didn't know we had, we have endured people staring at us, rude medical personnel and on the flip side-experienced the wonderful kindness of friends, family and total strangers who have offered to come to our aid . Ww are all survivors adapting to the circumstances life has thrown us into, cutting down on material pleasures and basking in the "free" Disneyland the word offers-the beauty of the ocean, the flowers, the trees, the shared laughter with family and friends, spending our treasure of time to enjoy life and not to take it for granted. yes, I have some family who try to baby me, others are in denial,and I have lost friends and had trouble finding others.
