Guest guest
> Hello, Myofascial pain syndrome is painful and when you have both MPS and fibro it can make things worse. The fascia is a thin layer that is under your skin, it's basically that stuff that is on chicken that covers the muscles. When you get the syndrome, the fascia can start to tighten and become less flexible. It can bind your muscles in painful positions. One weird thing is that when I get massages the therapist can usually feel what feels like beads or small lumps under my skin. They are very painful to massage out. I also feel very tight to the therapist. Loretta > Krystal, > I was just diagnosed with myofacial pain syndrome. Is there anything you can tell me about it? The Neorologist says it is pretty serious, but the Orthopedic I am seeing didnt' seem to think it all that bad. I know that I am in alot of pain in my shoulder neck and right side of my face and head. Are you on disability? > > Re: Snapping muscles????!!!! > > that would explain why my legs are sounding like they are snapping > together alot. i hear it in my hips where the legs connect. i also > have myofacial pain syndrome. > > Hugs > krystal
Guest guest
I am on state disability. For me my trigger points are where it hurts the most when touched. like now is my upper neck area and my lower back siatica area. I need a shot for this pain but my doc is out for the rest of the month and no other doc will do it. I so far besides iv pain meds have not found any relif from it. >I feel very little relief from my pain meds norco and tramadol. I am not sure what all you would like me to tell you. For me the pain is so bad if someone just barely touches you in the trigger point you will scream your head off in pain. And the pain does not go away immediately it lasts a couple days straight. E-mail me we can talk more. Anyone Hugs " krystal
