Guest guest
have a mood change the closer to evening that it gets? I mean I find that I lose my patience easier and I get more don't touch me the later that it gets. I get aggravated at the least little things and I was wondering if it normal or not. Guest guest
Hi Rise, I like your name! I feel the same way at the end of the day. Especially Monday thru Friday when I work. I Nanny and I have to come home and deal with dinner and husband and 97 year old Mom and I just want to lock myself away. It seems the noise, lights and confusion of so much activity just freak me out by days end. And if I've had a good pain day, by then that is starting to increase as well. You are not alone. Take care, /Mi do any of you ever have a mood change the closer to evening that it gets? I mean I find that I lose my patience easier and I get more don't touch me the later that it gets. Guest guest
Well I get that way but I know why. It's because after being at work for 9 hours I am just physically and mentally drained and I don't want to have to deal with anything else. Sometimes on the hour's drive home from work just the thought that i have to come up with something to cook for dinner will drive me to tears because it's just one more decision that I have to handle. Probably the same for most with a chronic illness, you tend to feel worse, more fatigued in the late afternoon/early evening and your patience and tolerance are at the end of their rope. N. Guest guest
Krystal, I just let your post through. I have had this for 17 years and the one thing I have learned is if you panic and alot of us do the pain is worse. You can't control the disease but you can control your way of thinking and the biggest thing is do not panic. I know it is hard believe me I know. I use to panic so bad if I did not have my meds or just thinking about if I was going to be able to sleep at nite. That was one of my biggest fears. I worried about it too much and when it was time I just couldn't sleep and I hated the fact I had to stay awake and in pain by myself while the rest of my family slept. I felt so alone. But I learned after a long time that I could trick my mind sometimes by counting by 3's and by 4's and if I made a mistake I had to start all over again. I can count by alot of the #'s now. You brain gets tired of starting over and finally shuts down. I know it is weird maybe you can find something that can help you it does not have to be numbers. you could even try the naming the 50 states and their capitals what ever. This works very well for me. Stress is always going to be there but I think you can trick your brain to the point that it just shuts down and you do not even realize it till you wake up. This is just a suggestion I am not a DR. and I am not a guru of Fibro. I hurt and go through the same things you all do. It is just a friendly suggestion and I am so sorry you are having such a hard time. It breaks my heart to read all the posts and know that there is nothing I can do. To take away the hurt. That is the reason I stay with the group as we all know the outsiders have no idea what we go through. That also makes things worse. Like I said it is just a suggestion. I hope you find relief soon hun! Contact me me if you need to. Lori J Moderator Krystal wrote: Yup either because I am real tired I will burts out in tears for no reason. Guest guest
Thank you , my mom named me after a British opera singer, she used to spell her like me but has changed her spelling to the new Risa. Thank you too for answering,it is good to know that it is normal and not just me going insane. I am so new to this, although have had symptoms for many years, just received the diagnosis. Sometimes I will get so upset and feel like I must be a bad person to get so aggravated over something so simple. Rise " / Ga Re: do any of you ever Hi Rise, I like your name!
