Guest guest
Well it's official. I have fibromyalgia. It's strange because I have days when I almost feel normal, whatever that is. Anyways, after a stressful and tiring drive (I hate driving in cities) I arrived at my Dr.'s office to have an appointment that only lasted 15 minutes. We went over my test results and he pressed about 6 areas on my back and arms that really hurt and he put me on Gabapentin (Neurontin). The only thing I'm concerned about is that I didn't get the chance to go through my symptoms with him. I don't know maybe I'm worrying about nothing (darned anxiety monster) but I just feel that I've been swept under the rug. Do you guys ever have days when you just feel that nobody understands or even cares? I've been in pain my entire life and it just wears on me every day. Hoping y'all had better days than I did, Britt
Guest guest
Hi Brit, Yesterday I had one of those days. I was in so much pain, that I was beyond tears, I was just angry at the whole world. I thought my husband understood, but he ended up asking the very important question about if I had made the coffee before I went to bed. Needless to say, he almost wore the coffemaker. Let me know how the gabapentin works and try to have a relaxing evening, Wanda playa_chic04 wrote: Well it's official. I have fibromyalgia.
