Elicia,

I found your posting interesting. How does Dr. Lehman tell one patient that

pancreatic enzymes don't work very well and then puts another patient on

creon. Any thoughts on that? A., you go to Dr. Lehman and take

octreotide - did he ever recommend other pancreatic enzymes to you?

I don't have any idea what he's doing! Doctors are like that for some

reason that I don't understand. I've had the same doc tell me two

different stories on different visits. I just speak up and correct

them when I catch it! They don't like it much but it makes them

explain themselves! lol The Creon makes me sick though so I have to

change. I had many people email me and tell me it made them sick too

when I asked. So maybe you're just a lucky one that didn't have to

deal with it! Hope you are having a good, pain free day! Hugs, Elicia

Dave-

Fred was one of the atypical cases of elevated amylase and lipase

but NO pancreatitis. Thanks for posting this, it answered some

questions.

Dear ;

Glad to hear that Fred is back home. I hope that the prednisone helps

him get back to good health quickly. I supose now you'll be calling

him " Pred " instead of " Fred " ?

Best regards.

Dave R.
