I recently attempted to receive behavior therapy services for my son through

CMS. Someone did an assessment but then CMS asked for additional information.

The behavior therapy company never followed up and the services were never

started.

It has been reported that several people started CMS and had their assessments

completed, but the services were never started after the evaluation. Any

feedback on this situation would be very helpful.

CMS does not cover ABA or AVB therapy. CMS title 21 which is the insurance you pay for (not Medicaid) will cover ABA or AVB.
