Again. The surgery got cancelled. They did not tell us until yesterday at 4pm

when he called to find out what time the surgery would be. THEN they tell him

they have changed the date again. They knew this last friday and could have

called but did not. Now we had arranged for family to take off work and

everything. What is up with the VA hospital?

Sorry you are still having a rough time. Is your bad cold still

lingering or is it just the mean old fibro beast? Try not to cut

Vicodin back too much when you are off. It's good that your doctor

gave you that since mine won't. Hope your husband's urinary surgery

goes well tomorrow. Will keep you both in my prayers. Rest well also.

It lets up some during the day but then I still feel horrible most of

the time. (you know how it is). I was trying yesterday to cut back

on the vicodin as I usually do on days off work. >

Houston. I dread this so much not only for him but for me. It will

be one long day sitting in a hospital 2 hours from home and walking

all over the place. (the hospital is about the size of an airport).

*Oh my, not cancelled again? That must be very frustrating. I would be so

angry with them for that. Specially since you prepared for it a 2nd time and

this happens. I think I would be " up someone's butt " about this. I hope the

rest of your day is better. At least there will be sunshine and warm tempts

today. You are in my prayers.*

Thanks sweetie. They will get tired of me taking days off from work and

arranging for others to work my shifts for surgeries that keep getting

cancelled.

I just may not even plan on the next time being off. Might have to let him plan

on going alone the next time.

hugs,

Debra V.

*I hear ya. It does not make a good situation all around. Maybe a family

member could take him next time? Take a nice hot bath with candles and a

good novel. Just relax and this too shall pass.*

So sorry to hear about this frustration for you and your family, Debra. I have

doubts about the VA here in Milwaukee, too. It took them 3 weeks of fartin'

around to decide he had pneumonia. Now it seems like they won't be doing a

biopsy at all.

They just want to fattin' him up because he's all shriveled skin and bones.

Well I hope your hubby can deal until they get their act together. Take care.
