Guest guest
Debi, This could be related to a riboflavin deficiency. That is vitamin B2. You might want to get both a B complex and a riboflavin supplement.. http://www.surgical-pathology.com/riboflavin_deficiency.htm http://bob.usuhs.mil/biochem/nutrition/NOTES/ http://www.rzuser.uni-heidelberg.de/~cn6/baltista/ribofl_e.htm If you are getting cold sores, too, you might look at lysine, an amino acid that helps to quell herpetic infections which is generally what causes cold sores. I recently had this corner crack and I was taking riboflavin, but it wasn't going away, so I took lysine, thinking I had gotten too much arginine lately, and that change is what worked for me. Guest guest
Thanks to everyone for all your suggestions. Tomorrow when I go to Walmart I will see what's available. May decide to get a few different kinds to try out. Debbie L

Have been using Chapstick but that's not helping much. Does anyone know of something else that might help? Seems I remember B vitamins might have something to do with this. Any feedback appreciated.
