Guest guest
Yes, I am so blessed to have my dear sweet husband. He is my second husband however. My first husband was an alcoholic..and he did NOT care if I hurt or not. It gives me great comfort to know that I can lay down in my pits of pain, and that my husband is there to bring me anything I need....I am so lucky to have him. I would pray that everyone of you would be so fortunate. It does not take away my pain, but it COMFORTS me in a way I cannot explain. .........I think it allows me time for ME to assimilate the pain...and deal with it from day to day..not all of you , I am sure are able to have the luxury.. Bless all of you My love SOFT FIBRO {{{{{HUGGGSSSSS}}}}} Faith -- Re: NEWBIE Hi Faithy and welcome! I haven't been here long, but this group is such a help. Just knowing that others(unfortunately) are going through the same things. I'm glad your hubby will be there to care for you. What a good guy. Take care, /Mi NEWBIE Hello.. My name is Faith ...I live in Seattle, WA but will soon be moving to IDAHO My husband is semi retiring so we can be together more so he can take care of me. I cannot do that anymore....oh, I can walk, and feed myself most times, and dress myself, etc..but am in a lot of pain..and FOG...and I just depend on him so much. I would like to have some moral support. And maybe find ways that I can help my husband to understand me more with the pain I have. I am very happy, although, I take strong anti depressants to make that possible. Thanks for letting me join this group. Guest guest
Faith, Well, then you deserve a good second husband! My first was an alcoholic and drug user, and number two is a good guy. Still having trouble understanding my illness, but I guess that's normal. Take care. /Mi NEWBIE Hello.. Guest guest
yes, you are Blessed too, ...anything is much better then having an alcoholic in our lives...it just adds fuel to our flame of pain.. I do think there is a LOT out there on the Internet for families and friends to read and understand...about FM...and other related issues caused by FIBRO. Sometimes it is just difficult for people to understand what FM is because it is NOT that old of a disease. Years ago, it was just called the GRIP? or GROWING PAINS? ha..growing pains, we we are adult ...lol.......
