Every morning I get up...I have this GREEN gel that I put on my toe joints

that hurt so bad...and my spine, hubby does..it is called

Vital Therapy. I ordered it on line...and it really HELPS the stinging pain

in my arthritis joints of my giant toes, and my wrists from CARPAL TUNNEL.

It also quells pain in my spine...not sure how it works. It is a pain

relieving cream. I ordered it off of TV...it comes with capsules for calcium

..but I cannot take that...the cream has COPPER in it..

I remember when we had copper bracelets that we wore for arthritis..now I

just rub in the cream. and it does relieve the pain ...for a little while...

When I hurt so bad...mostly it is when the barometric pressures change and

we have terrific rain storms...oh, my goodness...

what pain..cannot hardly get into bed. Hubby has to pull my covers up for me

...I feel like such a baby...but I cannot do it.

And then he turns on my electical blanket. THAT blanket is a godsend...

I'm like that every day. It pretty normal for me to cry on the hour's

drive home from work in the evenings just from the pain and fatigue,

especially the closer it gets to Friday!!!

1. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list

as to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your

dr. Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well

as to certain health conditions or just dangerous in general.

2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't

be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that

situation better.

4. Also, it is not uncommon for more than one member to be feeling bad at

the same time when it comes to flares and b/c of that potentially take

something another member says the wrong way. And that includes the things

that one member may find funny (even if it's laughing at fibro itself) even

though we who deal with illness whether one such as fibro or multiple

illnesses try to keep a sense of humor.

5. Pls let's be gentle with each other, and if you are having a bad day pls

let us know so that we can do our best to offer our support.

Have a nice day everyone.

Pain sometimes makes me nauseated. I can so sympathize about the hurting and

not being able to do things for ourselves. I am thankful I can do most

things, but I have my days. today being a huge pain day for me with my teeth

extractions. I have dry sockets again. Dang it. Hope you all feel better

soon.

Oh my! My heart goes out to you. I was in my early 20s when my wisdom

teeth were pulled (3 of them) and ended up with dry sockets. Of course they

teeth came out on a Saturday. On Sunday my parents decided we should go to

a Polish picnic. All I remember is saying to my dad, " More Beer. " Over and

over again. I went to work the next day and my boss's husband was a

dentist. She called him right away and told me to get my butt over there.

It hurt so much. You really have my sympathy because it can make you hurt

all over.
