Guest guest
Debra, I normally refrain from giving unsoliciated advice or suggestions because I know how annoying that can be when someone is just wanting to vent their feelings, however, I have found a rountine in the mornings that help and I wanted to relay it to you. I also wake up very stiff. What i do is, I wake up approximately 1 1/2 hours before I actually have to get up and take my morning pain medicine and then lay back down. Usually I fall back to sleep. When my alarm goes off I lay in bed and slowly stretch for about 5-10 minutes depending on how stiff my back and shoulders feel. Usually my entire back will pop during this time which feels WONDERFUL!! LOL This has helped me with the stiffness and also the back spasms I was experiencing every morning. N. Guest guest
. That sounds like what I do. Never just jump ou tof bed and start doing things. Takes a lot of stretching and wriggling around to loosen things up. then I take my med's and fix my Chi tea. Least bit of real pain and back to bed I go. I know I'm one of the very lucky ones on disability and can afford that luxury. I doubt I could make it if I had to work. And that is what my dr. told disability. There are days on end where I can do nothing. Who's going to hire and keep a person like that on top of all the med's I take. I really feel for those of you who still have to work or have small children at home. Good luck to all of you and my God bless.
