I wish I could recruit all of you having trouble with your Dr's who refuse to

adress your disease treat it with whatever works. I have a awsome Dr's group

and can't say enough of I wish they were avail for all of you with this problem.

My Dr' is very understanding, believing, and treats with pain meds. But as far

as being afraid, you are right, some Dr's because of the fair of getting into

trouble because they are getting watched closer on reasons prescribed the RX of

narcotic's because of the street users, sellers, abusers. My PCP told me this

was happening, I was told a couple mo's ago that this was happening and the

office was having everyone of there patient's who are on narcotics come in for a

revail, and update med records to see if they really needed to continue with the

narcotic they are on. The ones on stronger percocet etc. the office was going

to have to start referring them out to the Pain Clinic for continued RX if they

were to be long term which is

where I may end up, the vicodin has started to stop working, I have been on and

off of percocet, and because my condition has worsened so bad in the last yr. I

was told some Fibro patient's, come to a time where they will have to use heavy

narcotic's lifetime. This was not a happy thought for me, as I don't even like

being connected to having to take med's to move daily now without pain. I also,

have tried every homeopathic, self treatment, exercise, diet, lifestyle, PT, OT.

accupuncture, pressure point, relaxation, meditation, pain Management, different

then Pain Clinc= supervised narcotic pain meds. I now am running out of

options, and looking at it as it has been now I see myself visiting the Pain

Clinic, and attached to these med's to have relief. Some dr's and I believe

they are getting fewer and fewer do belive will treat no matter what, but

everyone of us with a long term illness needing pain control meds will most

likely have to go out to the pain clinic

doctors who are not bothered for prescribing these meds as this is there

expertise Pain, and will treat those needing it, they to have you go through

tests to accomadate what they are prescribing, Hope you are able to find the

right help, and find the Dr. who will belive in your disease and symptoms like

mine. My Rheumie also has no question of what we can go through.

i think the truth is the docs are getting audited more everytime they

write a script for a controlled substance, so i really do feel and

beleive that they are now not even bothering to acknowledge our

symptoms nor are they making the proper diagnoses so they won't have

to write scripts and treat us, looking at us like we are nuts.

i have been close to writing a list of all my dxs, all my meds, and

all my ongoing symptoms getting worse, handing a copy to my docs and

asking them to sign my copy that they did receive the information

from me. this would be evidence, in a court of law, of their ongoing

negligence, if needed.
