Baking Program in Palm Beach County-an update

I met with the ESE Director for the county, Pincus, on Friday. She was enthusiastic and very helpful. Her suggestion was to expand the existing program at Dwyer High first and then secure letters of recommendation and move onto other schools afterward. It appears that Palm Beach County is not centralized and therefore programs operate differently school to school. Basically, the principal has a great deal of authority. So, upon her suggestion, I contacted the principal at Dwyer, who was also enthusiastic and is willing to provide the direction and MONEY (I know, I was shocked) to get this going,

We are also going to get some things going at Renaissance next week. So we are off to a great start.
