Guest guest
This whole thread hits close to home for me. My mom died early (when I was 28 - I'm now 49) and from then on it was my dad and my sister on one side and me on the other. We haven't had any contact with each other for quite a while now - they also pretty much have voted me as a " problem " - not just me, but my kids and grandkids too. It bothered me a lot in the beginning especially the part about my kids and grandkids - treating me like dirt is one thing but when they started with my kids - I totally didn't take any more and of course they saw that as me being more of a problem so now we don't talk at all or even see each other. It still bothers me from time to time and I know a lot of my anxiety and stress comes from that source. Really need to have my insurance kick in so I can go back to therapy. Unfortunately that won't happen till fall. Teri (central Wisconsin) Re: Family & Fibro....AIMEE > >Hi Aimee, I honestly don't know what to tell you. I guess if you want to keep peace and not get upset...if anyone asks you how you are...just be casual about it. It certainly isn't right, but...I have a family, but sister is nuts and I was " voted off the family " four years ago and I figure it's their loss...so it will be just (hubby) and I. Good luch, sweetie. /Mi
