Support for Parents of Exceptional Children

Come join the group for support and to share any questions or concerns that you may have regarding your loved one. Di scussion could involve parenting techniques, education, biomedical research, therapies or anything in between.

The group provides an opportunity for:

· Sharing common feelings and experiences with others facing the same c hallenges

· Getting informed about local resources in the community

· Dev eloping a social support network

When: First Tuesday of the Month (beginning March 2011)

is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience working with children and families of all abilities. She is also the parent of three children on the Autism Spectrum which enables her to bring her own personal experiences to the group.

What: Family Trip to the Palm Beach Zoo & nb sp; When: Saturday February 12, 2011

1301 Summit BoulevardWest Palm Beach, FL 33405 Time: Noon

Activities: A brown bag group lunch will be provided under the tent at 12:00 noon sharp. Speakers will highlight upcoming events for o ur families. We will then tour the zoo together in small groups.

Cost: FREE! FREE! FREE! FOR ALL INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES & THEIR IMMEDIATE FAMILY OF UP TO 5 PEOPLE MAXIMUM PER FAMILY (immediate family includes individuals living in the same household as the person with disabilities)

THIS IS A VERY LIMITED REGISTRATION ONLY OPEN TO THE FIRST 100 INDIVIDUALS.
