Announcement from

Florida Developmental Disabilities Council

The National Association of Councils on Developmental Disabilities(NACDD) is working in collaboration with the Administration on Developmental Disabilities and the Transportation Security Administration to address screening issues that affect people with developmental disabilities, especially the enhanced 'pat down' procedures. Some individuals with developmental disabilities have indicated that the new 'pat down' procedures have triggered stress related to past experiences of sexual abuse. To assist the NACDD with collecting information on this issue, the Florida Developmental Disabilities Council is asking Floridians with developmental disabilities to complete a survey describing their experiences - both good and bad - with the new airport security procedures. Please click here to complete the survey.
