Guest guest
I would start with switching from the DHA to EFA or omega 3/6/9, plus EPA. This will be a better ration of EPA/DHA based on the apraxia experience. So 2 capsules of omega 3/6/9 plus 1 EPA twice a day. All you would be changing is the ratio of DHA/EPA, but not the grams of omega 3. But you may notice some benefits. - [ ] EPA and EFA Question Hi, I am new to this group and been sitting back and reading all the incredible amount of information. I have two boys one who is 2 1/2 and one is 4 1/2. Both of my boys have special needs. The 2 1/2 year old, Will has been diagnosed with apraxia and SPD. He receives EI services 5 times a week; 2 hours of speech, 1 hour of OT, 1 hour of CranioSacral Therapy, and 1 hour of HIPPO therapy plus listening therapy two times a day for 10 minutes .. We have seen some incredible surges in his speech. In just six months, he went from just saying mama to having a vocabulary of over 125 words, putting two words together and starting to say three word combinations. I have a question about EPA and EFA. I have been giving Will 3 capsules of Nordic Naturals Children's DHA 2 times a day for 2 months. I want to know if there is a better EPA that I should be giving him. Also, I want to start the EFA. What brand should I use and How many? If I am giving 6 EPA's a day, should I be giving him 12 EFA's? Thank you in advance for helping me with the dosages, Dawn
