Hi

First of all, welcome to the group - hopefully you will find this a

comforting place - I know I do.

I agree with Debra - weather changes, lifestyle changes, stress all trigger

my fibro. Overdoing it if you're having a good day (if there is such thing)

also triggers my fibro. Not getting decent sleep - that's a big one -

restorative sleep is a major factor in how your day can go. I don't have any

experiences with certain foods except for the fact that when my IBS kicks in

- so does the flaring. Sometimes disruptions in my day - like having to get

groceries which used to be easy for me, or running errands can make me

flare. Too long of car rides, or any type of travel seems to do it too. At

times meds can fatigue you too - naps are great if you have the opportunity

to take them. And as Debra said - sometimes there is no reason - it just

happens. Those are just some of the things for me. I'm sure others will

give you more input.

Re: triggers? Or something that causes an episode?

I think we all have many answers to that question and no answers that

are for sure. Unfortunately, fibro seems to kick in when we can't think of a

thing that caused it to flare. However, I will say that cold weather,

changes in weather such as rain.... make my symptoms worsen. Also, stress

kicks it in big time. Not enough rest will do it also. And some people do

believe that certain foods aggravate it. ( I think so too, I am not sure

though just what foods will do it for me).

Welcome to the group.

hugs,

there I am new to the group and I am so far thrilled to be among

others who seem to have the same symptoms as I do. I have had possibly

three episodes of severe aches.. that lasted two to three days.. so

far.

What causes this?

Is there a specific trigger? Or something I am doing wrong?

Is it diet?

Sometimes I am also so exhausted.

any advice would be fantastic.
