Guest guest
I also was voted out of the family, so I know exactly the feeling. When I decided to divorce my abusive first husband, who charmed the socks off everybody, my family all got involved. His slick tongue easily gained their ears, and they all got suckered into his lies. I almost lost all my children to this passive-aggressive man. Now my sons have come around, and funny thing, they all have rather distant relationships with him. He is disinterested in the grandchildren from his first marriage, and instead pours his heart and soul into his latest 'love interest', of which he had many when I was married to him. I kept it so covered that none of my family ever knew I was abused for 30 years. One sister has come around. The other 9 siblings have no interest in returning an email from me, so I now consider them to be nothing more than people born of the same parent(s) as I was, nothing more, nothing else. No tears on my part. No pain. It's their loss, because I'm a pretty intelligent, witty, loving person! girlsaylor
