DID YOU KNOW?Did you know that UM-NSU CARD hosts a monthly Grandparents group at the CARD office in Coral Gables.  This group, G-PALS (Grandparents Assisting and Lending Support), was started several years ago to help meet the needs of this very special group of family members.  The group is facilitated monthly by Dr. Alessandri,  but also occasionally features guest speakers on a variety of relevant topics from estate planning to communicating more effectively with your grandchild to how best to support your son or daughter in their parenting efforts.

The next G-PALS meeting is Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at the Coral Gables UM-NSU CARD office from 6:30PM - 8:00PM.  Interested grandparents should email Dr. Alessandri at malessandri@... to be included in the G-PALS email list.
