Guest guest
Morning hun. You know eating once a day will not help one to lose weight. You must eat to help you body burn calories. I try to eat small meals about 5-6 times a day. also eat alot of protein which helps burn calories. I crochet also, but I love, love, love, plastic canvas art. That is my favorite. Oh and I do cross stitch on occasion too. Crafts is a great stress reliever and get my mind off my health issues. Have a great day, VH
Guest guest
I eat things like cheese, or tuna with triscuits, Zone protein bars, slim fast drinks are a good snack, apples and peanut butter, etc. I am tall also, but want to get down to 165. I lost 165 lbs about 8 yrs ago and then gained back some. So recently I have lost 40lbs and have 40 more to go. I take short walks a couple times a day with my dog when able and also work in my flower gardens. I also hate tight clothes, lol. ww is a great program as my neighbor and her daughter do it and lose weight. No I have not heard form the other lately or Marti. I also am worried. Guest guest
no MB it wasn't you ,its that i have tried for ssi and everything else and according to them my husband makes too much money. with all the bills per month 600 a wk doesn't go far. I always check my o2 sat and it was the lung doc who told me to go without o2 slowly . he must have thought i was improving or he would not have said that. i never go below 93 when off and always carry my o2 and puls oximeter with me.i am just trying to manage my asthma and heart issues the best i can. it just seems i read more and more of all this costly meds that cause other problems and i just can't afford any of it and without tests docs are not going to give me anything.u of c in chicago has its quota of hardships and ichips is 669 amonth which we cannot afford so i guess i am just depressed today .because i'am blessed i can do alot of things right now that i couldn't before feb.of 2008. the weight along is great becuse i hardly cough anymore and i can do things without running out of air and stopping. again per docs instructions i am watching o2 really close thanks for your concern and i won't wollow anymore but feel blessed for the moment sharon p From: Bruce Moreland <brucemoreland@ gmail.com>Subject: Re: O2 DropTo: Breathe-Support@ yahoogroups. comDate: Sunday, August 31, 2008, 11:48 AM MBAnd sometimes mine takes longer to build back up than others. However, typically, I might be on 3-4 lpm and around 93 or so. I get in the car, sit, check. Now, still on that I see I've dropped to maybe 90 or 88 orso, sitting on 3-4 lpm. I can then just watch it rebuild and as it doesI turn it down. Then most of the time I can drive without oxygenalthough other times I have to keep a little on. Sometimes it rebuildsin a matter of seconds after getting in and other times it may take 3 or4 minutes to completely rebuild.> >> > Amy,> > Wow, you brought up something that has been baffling me also. Guest guest
Sharon, Thanks for responding I feel much better now. I'm glad you're keeping an eye on your sats and taking care of yourself. Just one other thing I'd add. I was talking about SSDI, not SSI. Qualifying for SSDI has nothing to do with your income, only that you can't work due to a disability. I have no idea if you would qualify but I thought I'd mention it. Good luck with everything. You are in my prayers! Beth Age 48 Fibrotic NSIP 06/06 UCTD 07/08 Change everything.
