Ya know, I know the harm, and I know that I need to eat 3x, or like you 5-6 sm. times a day, as it has been proven to me that the 3x does take my weight off, the 5-6 also works and has been suggested do to my digestive disorders. Twice I have attended weight watchers and I think once this winter weather is gone, expecting another snow tonight!, I will have to go back to W.W,as I can do it at home but knowing I am getting on a scale helps more for me. I was chubby as a child/teen. But after my near death with thyroid disease back in 77, I have not had the weight issues anymore except when something slows me down, a cast, sprained ankle, a fall down stairs, back.I end up putting on weight. I joined W.W Point system, and first 2 wks lost nothing, I think a lb.well I got frustrated and happened to say how can that be, I walked extra, and have not even been using all my points! This is when she said that is the trouble, you NEED to eat. I did start using all points and the weight kept coming off. Everybody will tell me I don't need to lose wt.and as they see it have never been over weight, I am tall, but to me I know where I want to be, I know have a roll again and don't like it, I am up 13lbs by Dr.scale from last time, and don't like it. I for yrs and yrs have never been hungry during day, I drink alot of water water water and may sometime get a yougart, but not hungry don't eat. ??? I think it may be way back in my mind each time I think I need to eat hungry or not, I can't eat because the fat monster chimes in saying don't eat, your heavy you'll get heavier... I know I need to almost force feed myself, I did get some oatmeal down, not all of it, but have to get my cholestrol down as won't take the RX anymore bad drug! I ate that with the flax seed and it worked, but was able to do alot of walking which I love, and exercise which I have not been able to do for mo's. Everytime I get a good regumine going that way something happens and Crash. I will work on the eating during day, summer comes and it all really goes out the window, to hot! But tight clothes make me very very angry and can't put my husband through that again, he is to good to me, I really am a miserable person in tight clothes don't know how some woman like it. My husband is so good he will say oh honey just go buy some new clothes nuh ah, I can do this, save the money. Thanks for the support and little push as I need it, will go back and try the 5-6 xs, what do u eat that many times, this is another problem, because I am not an eater is finding what? I did x3 lean cusine sandwich, chix, etc. but what to do with sm. meals. Thanks for your suggestion. And your hobby sounds interesting. I have never heard of it........ Hoping u lighter days! Oh I have not seen lil on in a long time have u? She use to post everyday and like you was always so uplifting in such tough times in your own life, I don't know how you guys do it. I just shut up as to miserable. But her and Marti who I am really worried about have been gone. I know lil was having alot of bummer things on top of FM going on, ????? I try to eat small meals about 5-6 times a day. also eat alot of protein which helps burn calories. I crochet also, but I love, love, love, plastic canvas art. That is my favorite. Oh and I do cross stitch on occasion too. Crafts is a great stress reliever and get my mind off my health issues.
