In reference Mood bell...I am having a great experience using it for my kids. I combine this methodology with other ones and I have amazing results. I am Private Special Ed. Teacher tutoring for many years. LMB is one of the greatest inventions for children who have difficulty with auditory information. LiPS is fantastic. We have a reading specialist who uses it among other things and the kids never had so many gains, so quickly, in their lives! Maybe going to one of their centers is very costly but if you can find someone who uses it privately it is GREAT!

LMB does not work for everyone. They use their own testing at the start and

completion of the training which is very subjective. Also, in many cases, the

techniques do not transfer into real life. Many kids get a minor benefit, but

its certainly NOT worth the money and time.

That's why I stated to find someone who has the LMB backround among other programs so they can test your child and go with what they feel will be the best for them. If your child does not make gains then the child should be evaluated for a much lower down problem in the brain. Auditory Processing Disorder and Primitive Reflexes being the most typical causes. Don't assume every child with reading/math issues is at the same place developmentally. LMB strategies are great for kids who are physically ready in their bodies and vision. But so many are not to that point yet and when failure happens, people assume LMB is not a good program and waste of money. A child who is having struggles needs a full team assessment from an audiologist (APD exam), a developmental/behavioral optometrist, and an OT/PT or specialist who can assess for primitive reflex patterns. That will be money WELL spent when you find out what the core problems are first before jumping into a reading program.
