Dear Fibro Group Members,

I am writing to let you know that my Mom, Marti, is OK but not up to writing

yet. The treatments have been much harder on her that we thought they would be

and she is basically sick and in pain all the time.

The computer is at a desk with a rather uncomfortable chair and though she has

tried to read some posts she hasn't been able to stay there long. I wish she

had a lap top so she could sit in her recliner or in bed and type.

She asked me to apologize to you all for not staying in touch or having me

stay in touch with you all. A couple of people have called and that is always

fine. Either I will get the phone or she will,or you can leave a message and

she will call you back, and she is up to talking on the phone most of the time.

For anyone else who wants to call, just e-mail her and I will send you back her

phone number.

She is most grateful to the people who have sent her cards, both e-cards and

snail mail cards. She can't remember if she thanked you all, but hopes she

already did.

She really enjoys your group and is missing the support she receives from it.

Hopefully before too long she can be back on posting for herself.

It looks like the treatment isn't going to go on as long as first thought,

because it is really taking a terrible toll on her. She was not able to finish

the class she started and is pretty down about that and everything right now.

She told me to tell you she loves you all and thanks everyone who has been

concerned about her and is praying for her. She will try to get back to you

personally soon.

Thank you all so much for being friends with my mom. She is a neat person.

Andi - Marti's daughter.

Thanks Andi. I am relatively new to the group so am not sure exactly what

is going on, but I will be praying for her.

Hugs.

Andi,

Thank you so much for updating us; I know we have all been concerned

about the lack of contact from your mom. I'm definitely praying for

her and I know others are as well.

Andi,

In case you haven't guessed we aren't just a group, we are a family who

cares deeply about one another.. Of course, that includes Marti.

*I have been praying hard for your Mom. Please let her know I miss her and

wish her well. I had a relative go through chemo, so I am familiar with the

side effects. wish I could wave amagic wand and make her all better.*

* Love and hugs to her,*
