Guest guest Posted March 18, 2008 Report Share Posted March 18, 2008 Yesterday I went to see my heart dr as I had several stress tests done. A very good and kind dr. but specializes in heart disease. My heart tests turned out good. My blood pressure was exteremly high and I must have looked awful as he asked what stress I was going through in my life. I explained that I missed being close to my son and I was in a great deal of pain from fibro. He ordered me to go for a 2 week visit to stay with my son and if I was happier there then it was a good place to find dr.s that very caring and very good at their jobs. My son was delighted and we set up a schedule for him to come move me out there to Wa. Well, my sweet aunt that I live with suggested I just take an extended vacation and see if I would be happy there and if so it was fine with her but suggested I leave all my furniture here in case I decided to come back to Vegas to live and her home was open to me. What a neat idea. So as of Aril 1st I will be staying with my son. Today I went to see my neuroligist that I've seen probably 5 times since I moved here a year ago. He asked me what my problems were!! He had all the infor faxed to him the first time I say him. All I wanted was to go back to the exact med's I had been on where I moved from. Oh no way. Vicodin was bad for me but I could have Oxycotin or Morphine. Well I can take neither. I said with my 4 surgeries in neck and back and Fibro I needed more than he was giving me. He had cut my doses in half. Well I finally won out and got my Vicodin back but he made them 10mg instead of 7.5 and 5 a day. Well then I had to come in every month for a new prescripion. I will not go back to a dr. that obviously has not taken the time to study my chart before seeing me and not respecting my wishes to go back what I had originally been on before I ever seen him. I was so stressed out when I left his office I thought my heart was going to burst thru my chest. But I got MY MED'S Sorry to vent but I needed to settle down and have with the help of you and a valium and pain pill. Thanks for listening friends. god Bless. I've already started packing. a great weight has been lifed and it feels wonderful. My Yorki had to have several shots and get a health certificate and she was so sick last nihgt. Porr thing, but now she's doing better. Hope she likes to fly. she'll be under my seat so she should be okay. I am so excited. Will keep in touch. God bless.
